A three-day AI literacy seminar in Siem Reap for 90 teachers from 13 schools and 180 students of Hun Sen Siem Reap High School.

On 2 April 2026 the Youth Program Development Department of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport’s General Department of Youth opened a three-day seminar on AI literacy in Siem Reap. It brought together 90 teachers from 13 schools and 180 students of Hun Sen Siem Reap High School.

The goal was practical: to show how artificial intelligence can help in education, and how to use it well. We covered:

  • what AI is and how it works, from inputs and patterns to predictions;
  • how to write good prompts;
  • how to check and evaluate what AI gives back;
  • the ethics of using AI at school;
  • using AI as a helper for teaching and for studying.
